RySpring I think is finally on its way I have daffodils and tulips up all over the place! We have been really busy with yard projects the last couple of weeks. This past weekend Brandon's parents were here to help us put up a vinyl fence. We went and got railroad ties to make a border for a garden. Were going to try and have a garden this year-so we will see how it goes it is our first garden so I hope it works. We had two dump truck loads of gravel delivered so Brandon has been busy getting that spread. So Easter was quite the day. On Saturday there was a Easter egg hunt up at the Gunnison park. Brandon had to work so Jeff (Brandon's dad) took me and the kids up to the park. The city shot a loud gun and that was the cue for the kids to start looking for candy. I went with Ry on the hunt while Jeff and Marie watched Whitley. I have never seen so many kids in my life on a search for candy in the grass. Ry had a good time looking for candy. When we were done the Easter bunny was there. I said lets go get your picture with the Easter bunny Ry. No mom I don't want to. I said why as he's trying to run away from me-I don't want to. So I picked him up and took him over and stood in line as he's kicking me and trying to get away. I thought seeing Santa was bad the first year well this was five times worse. So its our turn to get our picture and the Easter bunny says hear pet my ears. Nothing would work he was to scared. Any way, Easter morning I woke up at 6:30a.m. and went outside and hid eggs in the backyard. Ry wakes up pretty early so I didn't want him to catch me. I finished and went back to bed. He came into our room about five minutes later-I said Ry should we go out in the living room and see if the Easter bunny came. He said mom the Easter bunny is up at the park and he don't have a car to get to our house. I said oh well maybe he got a ride lets go see if he came. He didn't know what to think. Brandon had to work that morning so we saw what the Easter bunny brought and had a Easter egg hunt. He thought it was pretty neat since there wasn't anyone else searching for the eggs and they were all his. Whitley got her first tooth on the bottom a couple of weeks ago. I was able to get pigtails in her hair for the first time today. She is so happy and loud. She is really unsure of men though. In church a guy was sitting behind me in Sunday school. Everytime she looked at him she would just start bawling. Last Monday me and my mom were on the elevator in the mall. A security guy got on with us. Whitley looked over at him and just started screaming. She loves her daddy and brother but any other man she is scared. I think her daddy thinks that's ok. Ry is getting so big and so smart. We went outside yesterday and he started smelling the air. He said mom I think I can smell a bird. We have had lots of birds lately in the yard and he is so interested in them. I can't keep him in the house. He wants to be outside with our dog Toby all the time. At night if were being loud of even just talking he tells us to please be quiet because Tobys sleeping.
