Me carving my pumpkin

Brandon and Ry working on their pumpkins!

I know that Halloween was almost a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't posted any pictures. I have kind of been being a slacker. On Monday before Halloween we carved pumpkins as a family. Last year Riley refused to pull the seeds out. He put his had down in there and about lost it. This year he was a little better but not much. After we carved them we took them out on the front porch and lit them and I took some pictures. Ry has been wanting to use my camera a lot lately to take pictures. I catch him all the time with it taking pictures of the dogs or his sister. Any way, he asked if he could use my camera to take pictures of the pumpkins and I told him not tonight-he said well can a use my cars camera phone and take pictures of the pumpkins. I said sure so he went in the house and got it. He came outside and got in front of the pumpkins and said say cheese pumpkins. It was so cute. On Thursday Oct. 30 Ry had a Halloween party with his preschool and the parents could go if they wanted. Well I have been so excited to wear my Dorothy costume that my grandma made me that I was all for it. We got up that morning and got ready-Ry was the scarecrow. I got him all ready and he looked in the mirror and said he looked funny. I said honey you don't look funny-that's how scarecrows are suppose to look and your the cutest one I have ever seen. So we went to the party. It was fun. While we was waiting for all the kids to get there his teacher had them each pick a song to sing that they had learned. I honestly about started to cry. To see him get so into the songs and do the actions was so special. It's amazing what he as learned in suce a short amount of time. When it was his turn to choose he chose Monkeys jumping on the bed. On Halloween I took the kids to the trunk or treat at the church. It was my first one and I honestly thought it was weird. I liked it when I was growing up and going trick or treating through the neighborhoods. Any way, we came home and my mom was there and took us around town. It was a lot of fun! We came back home and my mom took both my kids so I had a night to myself and boy was it nice!
