I feel like when I sit down to blog it hasn't been that long since I last blogged but when I look at the date and see it has been over a month it makes me realize just how fast time goes. We have had a busy month-so I guess I will start with the worst part which is our basement flooded a week ago wednesday. Not a good thing, but were lucky it just got one room and down a hallway. We hardly ever go in the bedroom it started in. Brandon just happened to be walking with Whitley trying to get her to quite fussing while I was upstairs visiting with the home teachers. He walked in the bedroom and his socks got soaked. Any way, to make a long story short we got the leak fixed at 10:30 p.m. and then started the cleanup. We pulled the carpet back and the pad underneath was so wet that we just took it out. I got a wet/dry vac and tried to get the carpet best I could. We got fans on it and now it's dry. Brandons friend who does sheetrock come and looked at the damage today. He cut a small piece out of the wall and guess what was behind it? Mold. So the insurance adjuster is coming tomorrow to look at the damage. Aside from all that everything else seems to be pretty good. Riley will be 3 on Saturday and all he can talk about is his cars cake and that he wants a pool. I really don't know where the last three years have gone. Whitley is doing very well. She went to the doc about a week and a half ago and she weighs 21 lb. 10 oz. and was 29 in. long She is in the 88 percentile for her weight and 89 percentile for her height. She definately isn't starving. She has two teeth on top and two on bottom. She is trying to pull herself up in the crib, couch, and piano bench. She wants to crawl and tries but she falls on her stomach and freaks out. I went and got her and Rys pictures done last monday and it went really well. Last time she bawled everytime I sat her down on the picture table so I took Ry with this time and I think that was the trick as long as he was by her side she was fine. Ry is so funny with her if she gets ahold of something she shouldn't he goes and takes it from her and gives her something she can have and says baby you can't have that you could get hurt. He has been so good with her. We have been working in our yard alot. My garden is growing!!!! We sold my escape and brandon's go to work car. He just rides with a guy down the street so we are car hunting. Were really not quite sure what we would like yet. Last but now least we have been fishing, had campfires in our little outside chimney at home, and helped brandon's grandma clean up her yard for her birthday. Any way, life seems to be good just busy busy!
