Brandon and I have a 15 in. tv in our room that is really hard to see when we are laying in bed watching tv. Everytime we watch the jazz they look like little ants running around so we finally upgraded to a bigger tv. We got a 32 inch-and wow what a difference we can actually see what were watching. A update on Ry and his preschool he loves it and comes home singing Old McDonald, howkie pokie and follow the leader. He loves to sit down and color. I sat and colored for a couple hours with him yesterday. On Monday they went to the fire station. He got a fire hat and got to go for a ride in the firetruck.

I can't forget to tell how absessed Whitley is with purses and cell phones. I went and dug out a couple of my purses from when I was a little girl and she loves them. She puts two on her arm and walks around with them and a princess cell phone. It's funny how young they learn just from watching.

Ry had been begging us for days to make sugar cookies so we finally did. He had so much fun and I think Brandon and I enjoyed it to. We went to frost them and of course the yellow food coloring was all dried up, but my neighbor saved the day. They ended up turning out so cute and so yummy they were gone in a day and a half. That is why we don't bake very often.

Why is it that getting a picture of a one year old has to be so hard. I wanted to get a picture of the kids in there halloween clothes that grandma tracy and grandpa jody had got them so I put my front porch decor out back and snapped away unsuccessfully that is. I think I took over 35 picture and got only one that is semi-ok. I tried everything I could think of to get a good picture-raisins, fruitsnacks, holding pumpkins nothing worked. Every time I sat Whitley down on the straw she jumped up and run of just a laughing. Why did I ever want her to walk is what I am thinking now. Ry sat on the straw so patient and good just waiting.

Last weekend was the deer hunt so me, my kids, my mom, aunts, cousins and my grandma all met up north for a weekend out. We had a lot of fun and it's always good to get all the girls together. We had lunch at Olive Garden and then did some shopping. My grandma stewarts birthday was also on saturday-so it all worked out very well. My aunt stacie and her daughter kallie flew in from New Mexico as well.

Today was super Saturday. It's a day when all the ladies in relious society get together do crafts, and have lunch. I made Whitley some hair bows and a Christmas believe block. It was a lot of fun. I also had a girl in my ward come and babysit my kids. I have never done that before. I have always had Brandon watch them or someone in the family. My mom keeps telling me I need to find someone so when I get in a pinch I have somebody besides family. I think it went really well. Ry said they had fun.

Alright so we took a little family trip up the mountain last week to look for deer for Brandons hunt coming up and for me to try and get a family picture. What an experience-a experience that was so good that we turned around about halfway to our destination. The leaves and the mountain was so pretty but our youngest thought she would throw a fit most of the ride. So we decided to pull over and get her out and try and get a family picture since it is a pretty time of year. We set the timer on the camera and put the camera on the jeep- then brandon would run back to get in the picture. The only problem is that Whitley doesn't know to look at the camera if there isn't anyone behind it. So after numerous tries we got one picture that is somewhat decent.
Riley is enjoying school a lot more. On Monday they had a cop come and talk and he got a badge. He thought that was pretty cool and on Wednesday he got to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin. He also has a new hobby that were not so happy with- he found brandons old sega and nintendo 69. He asked brandon what they were and he said a game. Ry said I want to play and brandon kept telling him another day. Well finally he sat down and showed him how. It's pretty funny to watch him play. He asks daily if we can go play a game and we have to tell him it's broke or else we would be playing all day.
